GABBY Petito's case has sparked fresh appeals for missing persons such as Daniel Robinson and others who vanished near Grand Teton National Park.
As the story of the missing 22-year-old Long Island native spread, and a body was found in the area where the search for her had been underway, many Internet users were left speculating who else is yet to be found.
In a push to get social media users to shift their attention to Daniel Robinson's case, one woman tweeted: "I'm shaking reading about the discovery of Gabby Petito's body in Wyoming.
"While we're watching this case unfold, please take 5 seconds to read about Daniel Robinson, a geologist who went missing in the desert outside Buckeye three months ago. His father is still looking for him."
According to The Grio, the father of Robinson has hired a private investigator and set up a GoFundMe to help find his son.
Robinson was seen on June 23 — driving away from his location of work in the Buckeye, Arizona desert.
The missing 24-year-old was reportedly working as a field geologist for Matrix New World Engineering.
He had been driving his Jeep Renegade when it crashed multiple times and ultimately landed in a ravine,

His son's cellphone, wallet, keys, were discovered at the scene of the crash but his son was nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, two other people went missing in or near Grand Teton National Park during the summer of 2021, just like Petito.
Robert Lowery, 46, also went missing back in August, as well as Cian McLaughlin, 27, back in June, Jackson Hole News & Guide reported.
Lowery's trip to Jackson was his first and according to Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Sachse, he was last seen on video at a restaurant at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village on August 19.
His last ping location on his cell phone was on August 23 in Jackson.
Lowery's sister, Leigh Lowery, said her brother had purchased a sleeping bag and a tent but had no camping experience before the trip.
Sachse also noted that Lowery canceled his mail before leaving Houston, Texas.
McLaughlin, who is 6 feet tall, was last seen on June 8 in the afternoon.
He went missing after hiking up Lupine Meadows Trailhead and reportedly didn't have a backpack.
More than 140 people had tips for McLaughlin's case, but after more than 45 search missions were conducted, he still wasn't found.
